The 2026 SQJBC season is approaching fast, and we are looking for passionate, driven coaches to lead our Under 16 squads!
Whether you have your sights set on a Head Coach role or want to make a significant impact as an Assistant Coach, this is your opportunity to shape the next generation of Knights basketball and guide our senior juniors through a massive season.
What we are looking for:

Terms and conditions
- I have read and agree to adhere to the Basketball Queensland Behaviour Framework:
Full Details - I hold, or am willing to apply for and hold a valid Blue Card, part of the Queensland's Working with Children Check
- I acknowledge that as a coach, I am also a selector for the U18 squad working under a chairman of selectors. I will ensure my availabilability for all trials and selection conversations
- I understand preseason training will occur on a Sunday mornings plus an additional night during the week, to be confirmed based on team training times. Then once the season commences training will move to 2 nights during the week with games to be played on a Sunday.
- I confirm I am available for the U18 State Championships to be played on the Gold Coast from approx 6-10 January 2027
